Grade 4 Piano - Distinction

I enjoy playing the piano. When I am practicing for an exam it gets a little, well, boring. This is just because you have to practice the same pieces, scales, sight reading and aural every single day!

My mum always sits with me when I practice and we practice for 1 hour a day but often more at the weekends when I have more time. My mum never lets me have a day off because she says that I have to touch the piano every day (even for a little while) and that practice makes perfect or gets you as close as possible to it.

Piano Trophy East DulwichMy mum says that no one is perfect, although I think Lang Lang may be 🙂 I guess my mum could be right as I have done my grade 1, 2, 3 and 4 exams and have got a distinction for all of them. That makes me feel good especially as I usually get a good treat for achieving a distinction. Thank you for listening.
