What happens if I don’t pay my invoice for piano lessons on time?

We ask all students to pay their invoices by 5pm on the last Monday of each half-term.The payment deadline of 5pm on Monday allows us time to complete our bookkeeping and create the timetable for the following half-term. We email all parents before term ends with confirmation of lesson times.

As a small business, it takes a considerable amount of administrative time to chase late payments.  We allow a 24-hour window for chasing of late payments. After 5pm on Tuesday, we close our books to students that have not paid and begin the process of recruiting students from the waiting list. This ensures that our teachers have a full timetable without any gaps.

What happens if I don’t pay by 5pm on Monday?

  1. We will send you a reminder email on Tuesday morning to pay the invoice by close of business (5pm) on Tuesday.
  2. After 5pm, we will inform you by email that we are unable to hold your space open without payment. Late payment results in forfeiture of your lesson time.
  3.  Your lesson time will be offered to the waiting list. We will book in consultation lessons and issue invoices to be settled within 24 hours by new students requesting these times.
  4. If you wish to continue with lessons, please contact us to find out the available times for lessons.

A huge thank you to our students that settle their invoices on time. We really appreciate it!
