It’s a new school year and we will be preparing lots of musicians for the upcoming music scholarships to schools such as Kingsdale, Habs, Prendergast and further afield across the rest of the UK. This year will be particularly interesting for me as my own daughter will be sitting music and sports scholarships to South London schools along with many of her classmates.
Get a head start in preparing for the music scholarships by booking a 1-to-1 session with our teachers this Autumn. We have over a decade of experience of successfully achieving scholarship entries to many schools. Some schools use a Music Aptitude Test, others use a more general Music Audition. We can help you prepare for both types of test.
We offer a full range of services to help you prepare for Music Scholarships to state and private schools. Our teachers have many years’ experience of helping students achieve scholarships to schools such as Haberdashers’ (Habs), Kingsdale, Prendergast and Dame Alice Owen to name a few.
We offer Music Aptitude Test training, preparation for aural tests and interviews and also guidance for audition pieces. Email Mirna to book a consultation lesson.
We are offering 1-to-1 Music Aptitude Test training throughout the Summer at our studio in East Dulwich.

What is the Music Aptitude Test? The test is used by state secondary schools in the UK to select a percentage of their intake on a music scholarship programme. The standard test covers Pitch, Texture, Rhythm and Melody and is designed to test a young person’s natural music aptitude.
