I joined the SE22 Piano School in January 2011 and I work here on Saturdays with Petra Hajduchova. I teach beginners up to Grade 3 level and specialise in Early Years Music Education including EYFS and KS1. I live in Tamworth and have a private teaching practice with students ranging in age from 4 to mid-50s. I regularly enter students for practical and theory exams. My Saturday students at the SE22 Piano School are taking their Grade 1 practical, theory and Prep Test exams in March 2012. |

I have been been learning the piano since I was 6 and I have been teaching for 5 years. I am also currently studying for a postgraduate teacher training course with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. I love performing and my repertoire is currently mostly classical composers including pieces by Satie, Beethoven, Bach and Liszt. My timetable is fully booked for Spring 2012. |

I started teaching in East Dulwich in 2007 and I now co-ordinate a busy piano teaching practice of six teachers and over 60 pupils aged 3 to 60. I focus my teaching practice on intermediate and advanced level graded exam students and prepare many students for music scholarship entry to local Secondary schools in Southwark. I organise our termly piano recitals at local schools such as Dulwich College, Kingsdale Foundation School and Alleyn's. I am the founder of the Dulwich Piano Festival, an event sponsored by The SE22 Piano School and The Inter Schools Advertiser. This is an annual piano competition held at Dulwich College. The inaugural event is on June 24th 2012 with Penelope Roskell as our adjudicator. |

I gained my teaching qualification in 2006 from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, the main examining board in the UK. You can read my teaching profile here. I hold an Associate Diploma (Distinction) in Piano Performance from Trinity College of Music. I have an avid interest in the music of living composers such as Einojuhaani Rautavaara, Carl Vine and Karen Tanaka. I enjoy introducing my students to the work the many local composers of South London such as Roland Perrin, Gabriel Jackson and Graham Lynch. In addition to the piano, I play the cello and the harpsichord. On the harpsichord, I mostly play the music of French composers The Couperins, Forqueray and Rameau. One of my favourite modern harpsichord pieces that I am currently learning is Hungarian Rock by Ligeti. |

I am a classically trained piano and harpsichord player with a passion for a wide range of musical genres. I perform regularly as a soloist, orchestral musician of the TCM Baroque Orchestra, chamber musician and as an accompanist. |
Recent performances have included Händel's opera Giustino and Rinaldo (Blackheath Halls), the third Brandenburg concerto by Bach (St. Martin in the Fields), and concerts at the London Handel Festival (St. George´s Hanover Square) and the Greenwich Early Music Festival. As an experienced music teacher, I enjoy teaching a wide age range of pupils, from pre-school age to adults. Recently, The Yamaha Music School gave me an opportunity to work in an experimental way of keyboard teaching. |
